I’m Pregnant!

I told my daughter… I just had a really big dinner.  She started to rub my belly.

“Is it a boy a girl?”  She questioned.  “Now you have to go the hospital.”  She wants a girl.  “Good Luck sister!”  I sense a bit of jealousy.  It immediately soaked in, she immediately stated that she’s getting more attention because she is in mommy’s belly.   Then she got smart and exclaimed that I’m not pregnant.  “Mommy, you don’t have milk in your breast.”  OMG she is cracking me up!

She just asked me… “How did God make us alive?  Does he hate blank?  So he created?”  LMFAO!  “Maybe Grandma Linda knows.”  My Mom is religious. I’m sure she taught her about Genesis.  I told her God made us with Play Dough.  Who knows?!

I said what if it’s a boy?  I dunno, you change his diaper everyday, you take care of him.  But you do it because you’re his mommy.  I started to wiggle my tummy and she started to giggle and kept insisting I am not pregnant.

If I was pregnant, this would be my second.  But it made me think, Kai Bug needs a little sister to boss around, and get out of my hair. LOL!  The idea of 2nd child syndrome came up.  Personality traits determined by birth order.  lfred Adler, an Austrian psychiatrist who lived around the same time as Sigmund Freud, was one of the first theorists to suggest that birth order may influence personality.  He suggested that birth order leaves a life-long impression on one’s style of life, the way s/he deals with friendship, love, and work. Other things that influence a person are parental attitude, illnesses, disabilities, gender, and the social, economic and religious situation of the family. Other things that should be considered along with birth order are the spacing of years between the siblings, the total number of children, and the parent’s situation over time. The influence of birth order on the development of personality has long been a controversial issue in psychology. Some are in strong agreement that birth order does affect personality, and others disagree completely.

The middle or second child will always be competing for the lime light with the oldest and youngest children. This is one of the main causes of middle or second child syndrome.  Second or middle children usually bemoan their fate as being ignored by everyone in the family. They may grow resentful or all the attention given to the oldest and youngest of the family. Second born children will often try to be the exact opposite in personality, interests, etc. from the first born child. S/he will often do almost anything for parental attention, even if that means being naughty. Parents tend to be much easier and less demanding on the second and third children. Middle or second children have to compete to be heard or noticed, and therefore crave the spotlight in other ways. They may be the loud, boisterous child in school. They may be the center of all their friends’ events.

I am a middle child.

Since we’re talking about pregnancy…

Thomas Beatie, also known as The Pregnant Man, has given birth to a girl, he confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

Beatie, 34, who began life as a woman and legally switched to a male identity, while preserving his female reproductive organs, and his wife Nancy, 46, welcomed a daughter at an Oregon hospital on June 29. Both Beatie and his daughter are healthy and doing well, he tells PEOPLE.

Beatie, who took twice-weekly doses of testosterone and had his breasts surgically removed during his female-to-male transition, made headlines around the globe last April when he announced in an exclusive interview in PEOPLE and on The Oprah Winfrey Show that he was expecting a child – while legally living as a man.

LMFAO! Reminds me of that season in L Word when Jenny Shecter has that butchy girlfriend, Max Sweeny, and she got pregnant.  Did Max kill Jenny BTW?

If I was a lesbian… I’d be with Maxx.  She’s SMOKIN!

I Haven’t Had My Period For 7 Weeks

A lot of people are in awe with my openness about personal issues. I say when you are a woman who gets her annual finger fuck (Pap Smear), and have had a kid, you’ve probably had a million nurses check your cervix, you learn that these topics are natural.

So I haven’t had my period for 7 weeks, but haven’t had a very sexually active fall and winter, so I was very confused. But accidents happen. My good friend even got pregnant while she was on the depot shot. My entire life I have mostly had regular periods, except for 2 years, 5 years ago, when I was on a form of birth control, depot shot. My period completely disappeared for two years. As soon as you get off the depot shot, you are highly fertile and susceptible to pregnancy. I immediately got pregnant the month I quit my depot shot. What they don’t tell you is that depot shot depletes your calcium, and anything longer than 2 years can cause osteoperosis and medical problems in the long run. Earlier this year I took depot shot for 9 months. Which is why I believe in the fall (Sept/Oct) could have been the inception date. But why didn’t I expect it earlier?

The last 3 months of my last depot shot I had my period for 3 months straight. When I got off depot shot, I missed my period, so I took a pregnancy test. Again, it was negative. In Oct, Nov, and Dec. my period was irregular but it still came eventually, and I wasn’t very sexually active, so I didn’t think I was pregnant.

Came new years, I didn’t have my period.  It’s the 17th and still no period. How can I be pregnant if I had my period? What some people don’t know is that you can bleed while you are pregnant. I bled regularly during my entire pregnancy with my daughter. I didn’t even have my first ultrasound and pregnancy until way after the 20th week.  One time I hemorrhaged to death and the doctors told me I was fine. The truth, you could be having regular periods, and you could be pregnant.

So… I haven’t had my period for 7 weeks, and a little perplexed, there are cobwebs spinning down there, today I took a pregnancy test. I had to pee so bad, I forgot to pee on the test, and had to wait half an hour to pee again. It was NEGATIVE, thank god! There are many things that can cause your period  to be irregular: Stress, poor body fat, bulemia, anorexia, intense exercise, menarche, menopause, low body fat, hormonal birth control, or a number of various things including serious medical problems or diseases and STDS. So I also did all of my regular check ups as well to be safe. Everything normal .I’ve been hitting the gym really hard, 2 1/2 hours a day, andhave drastically been losing weight. Perhaps, my stress level, with moving and all, has skyrocketed.

My girlfriend told me this blog is a little honest. Shit! It’s insightful, has useful information, and if any of you are getting off by reading this bit of personal information about me, then fuck off you sickos! LOL! And for those of you that thought I got knocked up? ha!

The healing powers of MORINGA “the Miracle Tree”

I first was introduced to Moringa during a stressful time when I was about 7 months pregnant.  I was extremely sick and throwing up and could barely keep any food down.  Not even a fruit popsicle.  Tired of staying at my boyfriend’s house, I went to my parents house.  My Mom said she had just gotten a new drink called Zija.

I had been sick for months.  At first it tasted kind of funny, like a slightly sweet light guava juice with wheat grass in it.  It had a small bite at the tip of the tongue, but that goes away after you get use to it. It tastes better chilled and comes in a tiny can made from a different type of material other than aluminum because that preserves it’s shelf life and doesn’t give off the harmful poisons most of us aren’t knowledgeable  about that aluminum cans do.

I immediately had energy, and ate a huge dinner.  I drank Zija for the rest of my pregnancy and felt great and energetic and had few problems.  Inspired by my personal experiences I decided to become a marketer for Zija.  As it is a MLM company, some people can shy away from that.  But MLM companies can be highly successful if you can set up your downline correctly.  My dad spent $10,000 on big shipments of Zija and brought them out to sell personally.  He bought it under someone under me, so I got commission as well, as the company has a 10 level pay out system.  I drank Zija for years, but unfortunately as the bad economy hit, so did my income, and a $100 a month for 30 cans was just too much. The thing that was interesting about Zija is that there was a formula (I believe it was called Z-atin) they had in it that made your body utilize all the nutrients and absorb more of all that healthy goodness than your body normal would.  This was an all natural drink.  No preservatives, no colors, no artificial flavors.

The main ingredient is a common tree called Moringa.  In Hawaii the Filipino’s all have it growing in their yard.  They call it Calamungi.  In Africa, it is called Malawi.  Madonna’s charitable organization, “Raising Malawi”  in the city of Lilongwe is about growing plants because of their great nutritional and healing values.  It started with Madonna planting a Moringa tree.

The benefits of Moringa are many.

  • 7 types of Vitamins
  • 6 types of Minerals
  • 18 types of Amino acids
  • 46 types Anti-oxidants
  • High concentration of natural Anti-inflammatory agents
  • Natural Anti-toxins, Anti- tumors, Anti-bacterial and Anti fungal.

Moringa Oleifera main medicinal uses:

  • Strengthens the immune system
  • Cleans the body from toxins and heavy metals
  • Extermination of parasites in the intestines
  • Supporting treatment during radiation and chemotherapy
  • Supporting treatment during lack of appetite in children and adults
  • Helping with Osteoporosis treatment
  • Supporting with Diabetes treatment
  • Intestine infections
  • Gum infections
  • Prostate infection
  • Various skin diseases
  • Breathing disease
  • Head aches and Migraines
  • Arthritis
  • Gout
  • Hair Loss

A bottle of Moringa capsules could cost as much as $40! But I might just buy them so I don’t have to deal with mess of powder.

An inexpensive alternative?  My mom now grows her own Moringa trees and dries the leaves and makes it into a powder.  It is easy to care for, is drought resistant, can be grown in poor conditions, and dirt with low ph levels and doesn’t require much care.  Moringa is a wild growing, hardy tree.  Although it is hard to mix with water, as all the pieces of leaves float and don’t mix well, it still is highly effective when I am sick.

Discovery Channel Documentary of Moringa

Giving birth to Kai was easy, even though she was almost 8 lbs.  She’s a big girl, and is the biggest child in her classroom.  Perhaps she is so healthy and big because of my use of Zija when I was pregnant.  When she was little I continued to give her Zija.   She was healthy and didn’t have her first flu until she was over 1 year old.  It’s also a great alternative to boost your work out.  All those nasty supplements on the market can be harmful for your body.  Who am I to talk?  I have been living on Lipo6 for months now.

Nature’s AIDs therapy

Out of all the Moringa forms I have tried, I believe the Zija drink is the most effective.  Maybe because of the Z-Atin formula created to boost the effects.  But possibly, it is a placebo in my head.
