500,000 people homeless in Japan!

Aside from the 3,000 people dead (numbers rising every day) and thousands missing, half a million people are homeless in Japan.  People are being forced to leave their homes after the devastating Tsunami’s and Earthquakes that hit Japan last week.  8.9 on the richter scale, this is Japan’s largest recorded earthquake in history. Not only are their homes destroyed, but they also face the issues of radiation exposure from nearby damaged nuclear power plants.   The government has deployed 100,000 troops to lead the aid effort.
