I woke up at 3 AM to get turned onto a sexy new adult cartoon, Archer. At first I thought it was Adult Swim, then I was informed we were viewing on Netflix, however it began airing in January this year, on FX. I think I found my new favorite cartoon, apart from Family Guy of course.
Archer is an animated, half-hour comedy set at the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS), a spy agency where espionage and global crises are merely opportunities for its highly trained employees to confuse, undermine, betray and royally screw each other. The series features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin as suave master spy “Sterling Archer,” whose less-than-masculine code name is “Duchess;” Jessica Walter as his domineering mother and boss, “Malory Archer;” who reminds me of Jame’s Bond’s boss, Aisha Tyler as his ex-girlfriend and current co-worker, “Agent Lana Kane;” George Coe as his aging-but-loyal butler, “Woodhouse;” Chris Parnell as ISIS comptroller and Lana’s new love interest, “Cyril Figgis;” Judy Greer as Malory’s lovesick secretary, “Cheryl;” and Amber Nash as “Pam,” the director of human resources for ISIS.

So . . . I’m guilty of it! I’ve been known to check up on ex boyfriends, boyfriends, their girlfriends, and guys that I’m interested in too. I’ve even found old friends, business associates, and networked through this giant world we like to call Social Networking. It sucks when they put everything on private and you get absolutely nothing out of stalking their page. Then you feel your efforts wasted, and you’ve just become a stalker.
But when does it get to be too much? Sometimes when I’m bored, I’ll chat with any chat box that comes up in my window. This is my friendly nature. I’m a Gemini, and I love to converse. However, I think some people can take it the wrong way. Often they think I like them and are interested in them, which most of the time I’m not. I just like talking. Recently, chatting with someone, I accidentally invited him to my party tomorrow, thinking he was someone else. No harm done, he seemed like a little kid in a band. Then after going through his page, I noticed several pictures of bands, all different. After I saw his picture, he looked like a prison mate. He offered to buy me any puppy I wanted. I said I wanted a toy AKK. But now, I am rethinking it. He knows where I live. He’s stalking my page. Every time I log in… “good morning.” The second I turn my laptop on, my chat box comes up. He even has my phone number. Ugggh. I decided just now, I am not going to take him up on his offer to buy me a puppy. If he reads this, then hope he understands.
Someone else added me recently, an older man. I met him at a coffee shop, waiting for a friend. He happened to know my friend. The next day he is adding me on FB and asking me to dinner. I would never have talked to him or anything. I had a short conversation with him, because he sat by me, but I didn’t give him my name, or number. He must’ve found me in my friends’ friend list on FB.
I am guilty of being a friend whore, and adding everybody possible in my network, and expanding on that. However, I don’t go on FB looking for the fine guys, or looking to hook up. Some guys after you add them seriously stalk your page! They post comments on every single post, comment and “like” 20 pictures. I mean I can understand if you see a post that you want to comment on in the stream. But it’s a little obvious when you are commenting on every post every minute after it’s posted. They feel like they are having a conversation with you, next thing they get brave and message you to ask you out or give you their number. LOL!
I guess it’s a good idea to upgrade your privacy settings.

I have this song in my head all day. It’s catchy and brilliant. The video was shocking the first time I saw it, but that’s why it’s all the more brilliant. I love the ghetto jail implication and that girl fight in the jail cell was awesome. Mixing Beyonce’s booty shaking moves with Gaga’s eclectic strangeness and fashion, its a hit collaboration. It’s every designer’s dream to design for Lady Gaga. That is going to be my inspiration for my next line, a collection for Gaga.

OK. I want to clarify something. I’m not crazy. I’m not obsessed with him. I just really would like to be united with him. Haven’t you ever tried to track down an old friend before? I’m just taking a dramatic approach, and thought maybe Facebook will help me find him.
I have less information to go by. It was so long ago that I don’t even remember what he looks like . So here we go. His name is Chris. He is possibly Filipino, caucasian multi ethnicities. He was visiting family in 2003/2004 around Xmas and New Years time in Waikiki. He said he was from Hollywood. Hollywood isn’t that big of a scene so Im hoping someone in Hollywood would know him. I’m pretty sure he likes underground indie rock music and stuff. He had an afro, can’t forget that. I believe he was 21 at the time so that would make between 27 and 28 now. He was the quiet metro/emo type who wore tight jeans. He is short, and was thin. He is definitely unique.
If he reads this. I was living in the Prince Hotel in Waikiki. And we rented a moped and drove around and did all kinds of things. I remembered you because I was writing a blog on Bogarts Cafe, and you were the one who turned me on to that spot.

Young Franziska Bauer was born in a small Swiss village where she was always fascinated with nature and aesthetics. She worked with different aspects of design and art, until she got into fashion design. She is inspired from many things and knowledge. After a year at art shool in St.Gallen (CH), she became a polydesigner 3D. Following that, she continued to study at the „mode design schule zürich“. In 2008 she graduated in fashion design with her collection „vedova siciliana“. Her label „verso azur“ was born in 2009, it stands for unique handmade dresses and styling. Franziska Bauer is working as a independent designer and stylist for film- and photoshoots. Since june 2010 she lives and works in Milan.

How did you get started in fashion?
– I started serious with fashion design after my education in polydesign 3D, I always was fascinated by clothes but until then, it was only to create a look. To have the knowledge of tailoring, and to realize my own ideas was a great feeling. I found in it the right thing to put in my creativity and my passion.
Who are your favorite designers?
– There are and were a lot of great designers all over the world. But I dont have a favorite one. I dont like to reduce me of one thing – I like to keep a big spectrum from where I pick individual pieces from.
Who is your favorite photographer to work with? model? makeup? hair?
– It is the same here – I prefer to work with diffrent kind of „artists“, sometimes ist perfect if they are tuned to the same wavelength. But sometimes they can becum some nice result by working with someone who has a completle diffrent move or style like you. It can be a risk and it can happen that it goes wrong, but for me its important to be open minded and also to experiment and try diffrent things.

What are your inspirations as a designer?
– My inspiration I find in life, every day is full of inspiration –
meetings, emotions, discoveries – the fragments of this is the beginning for creating a new story.
My designs are the final product about a passionate process – every piece has his story , his own spirit. I think this is what makes it authentic.
At time I am working on my next collection „blinded by the light“ inspired by a barn owl. It will become a simpy collection about falling dresses,
short jackets and wide coats.
What are your goals as a designer?
– I am still at the beginning – I hope i can make a lot of experiences and getting better. My dream is my label VERSO AZUR and to have my own store some time.
I currently work on it. And as long as there is passion – there must be a
way to get it.
Have you studied or lived anywhere else besides Italy?
– I grow up and did my all my study in switzerland, after my degree as fashion designer i moved to italy, i have a fascination for this country, so i went there first to learn the language, some month ago i moved to milan, the place where fashion is. By the way i like to travel a lot…its something that let me feel so lively.

– As I already told I am working on my new collection „blinded by the light“, then are upcoming shoots with my small collection „accross the universe“ and some other projects.
